A glance at Lunar Eclipse

I just saw a Lunar Eclipse and took a pic of it.

If you like to know more aout this eclipse - read on as below I got from Wikipedia.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes behind the Earth so that the Earth blocks the Sun's rays from striking the Moon. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon's location relative to its orbital nodes.

Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place, due to the smaller size of the moon's shadow.

The last Sunday of October Twenty Eleven

Cooking is never of a passion of mine nor my hobby but I do cook at times.

Lately really - I have been increasingly craving for Potato Curry. I wanted to ask my sister to cook for us but she has also her work and stuff; so i did not really ended up of asking her to cook because I know how this curry is not of an easy peasy one like minced pork curry. It has got some extra works of peeling and stuff.

Without any further of my words and words - I would love to blog what I did today in steps to have my crave settled.

1) I started off with peeling Potatoes (it took freaking 20 minutes - I TOTALLY HATE IT)

2) I then boiled those lil Potatoes (i boiled 'em for good 30 minutes)

3) Peeling one big Onion is done as you see here.

4) Play " What Makes You Beautiful " by One Direction

5) I made coffee as well to drink while I am cooking

6) I use one big Tomato and cut it off

7) Open one Highway Pork Luncheon Meat and cut them in slices (half of the tin was used)

8) Not forgetting of cooking rice - so that I can just have my lunch right away once my curry is ready.

9) Our lil dalmatians were looking at me busy cooking and walking around

10) As all my ingredients are ready, I put the pan on the gas stove for one minute with the medium heat on, I then put in oil and waited for another minute. Onions were added after which and I stir them well till all the raw onion scent gone;

11) I like Oyster Sauce in my dishes, I put Oyster Sauce and stir them for a minute. Another reason I use Oyster Saucer is because I don't know how to cook with spices.

12) After which, I put my cut tomatoes and make them settled as sauce.

13) Once my sauce dish looks kind of settled, I put Potatoes in and have them mixed with the sauce which has just been settled.

14) I waited two minutes or so and put pork luncheon meats and have them all mixed for like 2 to 3 minutes

15) I did not throw away the water I boiled the potatoes and I put them 2 times in the dish now to have gravy. After adding water for the first time - I waited like 5 minutes or so to put another.

16) I waited around 8~10 minutes and while I am waiting, I make half fried egg. I like eggs in every of my meals.

17) After that, I adjusted the taste with oyster sauce again and the fish sauce. Stir and stir and stir again till I satisfy the taste and with gravy.

Ladies and Gentlemen - please say hello to my satisfied lunch " Potato Luncheon Meat Curry with Rice "

It took one hour plus but I enjoyed my lunch today.
I will make the curry wrap for dinner. My sis bought some wraps and still have them.

I wonder when was the last time you cook.

Peace out everyone ~!
